Boxhedge are Actinic accredited web designers.
Recognised as the UK ecommerce software market leader
Actinic is the complete store management solution for the on-line merchant. It includes everything a small business needs - bank-approved security, catalogue creation and maintenance, shopping cart and order processing features.

Clubhouse Services Ltd recently required a more professional looking web presence to illustrate and promote the types of event and facilities that Drayton Golf Club can provide.
It was felt that an existing site that promoted the golf club was not doing a sufficiently good job at getting this message across and there was no option to develop the existing site.
The site created by Boxhedge went for an elegant approach. Much thought was given to displaying information in 'easy to consume' segments and with good use of white space between information the overall feel is light and airy. The choice of font for titles and quotes adds a touch of class to the design and displaying information in different layouts across the site better retains the interest of the user viewing the site for the first time.
Rough Ride Guide (RRG) had for a number of years run a successful but simple eCommerce site developed by Boxhedge to sell the guide books it produced.
When Max from RRG came back to Boxhedge with a view to sell more than his guidebooks and to better promote events he was involved in we set about creating a feature packed site that would do this and more.
The high impact design reflected the 'dirty urban' look also created by Boxhedge for the range of their guidebooks. This was then integrated with Actinic software to provide the eCommerce elements of the site and Wordpress to handle the rest. Max now has full control of site content and order processing.
The blogging features of Wordpress were further developed to display Google maps and to integrate with social media platforms such as twitter, facebook, flickr and YouTube.
With a greater provision of information on the site RRG established itself as an 'Opinion maker' within the MTB industry; popular MTB magazines now publish their articles.
RRG can now 'soft sell' it's products through the articles and information it provides and the greater range of products sold has increased revenue significantly.

Boxhedge are always interested to hear from companies with outsourcing requirements.
We have been used by a number of agencies to fulfil their general web development and/or eCommerce needs & when necessary have worked on-site at the request of the employer.
Boxhedge onsite developmentRecently we worked on-site for Vodafone at their Paddington, London offices to further develop an intranet site for the User Experience Team.
The "personas" site was built to help Vodafone design/marketing teams more efficiently identify user groups and then reference the site to 'query' the personas as if they were a 'real' person.
